Working in continuous dialogue with my environment, Earth Capsules captures the raw essence of the natural world. From 2016 through 2021, I lived and worked at the threshold of the Rocky Mountains, just fifteen minutes outside of Santa Fe. Over time, the literal ground beneath me began to bleed into my process, physically merging with the artwork. The resulting earth capsules serve as a homage to this landscape—freezing a precious moment in time - art is nature, and nature is art.
